The primary function of SSL is to save fuel. Performance improvement is dependent on the size of the engine (horsepower). As the amount of additive per tankful is extremely small (3ml / 0-70l tank volume), the tank should always be completely filled at the petrol station in order to achieve optimum results.
Precise percentage figures on fuel saving cannot be given, as the amount saved depends very heavily on the individual engine.
According to the Test Report of Esslingen University of Applied Science there is no negative effect of using SSL on the engine or catalytic converter.

Function

SSL is available as a fuel additiveSSL is available as a fuel additive and is added with the petrol when you fill the tank. After approx. 10 min. SSL has combined with the petrol, which has a noticeable effect on performance.
SSL is a completely new energy form. Development and production are not based on a chemical formula.

In a multi-level physical process, with the use of certain substances, a highly concentrated additive for petrol- and diesel fuel-operated engines was developed. This enriched additive substance makes it possible in practical vehicle operation to considerably raise the performance of fuels in their degree of effectivity. With the use of SSL, there is improved ignition and combustion in the engine. Improved acceleration and higher dynamics are immediately perceptible.

In addition the engine shows evidence of better running. Distinctly higher performance and a drop in consumption are the result. The minimum factor of 3ml for a complete car tankful (petrol and diesel fuel 0-70 l) demonstrates an extraordinarily effective use of the materials deployed.

The invention was developed over a period of five years, including numerous vehicle tests.

1. Assignment of Tasks:
To prove the effectiveness of the fuel additive HME Power from the company FOERG Lichtenwald in a second test run.

To be compared: fuel consumption under partial load, at a speed of 60 and 100 km/h, with the same engine temperatures, with and without the additive. The additive will be less concentrated than in the first test run.

2. Test Procedure:

  • Preliminary test 17 Jan 2006, comparison measurement 19 Jan 2006.
  • Additive concentration: 2 ml per 10 liters 4-star petrol (ratio 1:5000)
  • Test program as specified: partial load of 60 and 100 km/h
  • Measurement range: customary engine data and exhaust emissions

3. Measuring Operation:
After the start up, the engine is run at a steady load level, maintaining the revolution speed by constant brake control and keeping the specified load value at a permanent level by manually adjusting the throttle valve.

While the emission and cooling water have reached their final value after a few minutes, the oil temperature rises continuously. This warming up is slowed down by directing the blow of a radial fan on the oil pan. Several intermediate measurements during this operation, at short intervals (2...5 min), produce fuel consumption results at different oil temperatures with a quasi-stationary running engine. The data recorded with the SIEMENS CATS are relevant for the statistical evaluation; the records 1..3 in the enclosure only provide a better overview. 

4. Results:
Picture 1 shows the fuel consumption at 60 and 100 km/h, depicted at l/100 km. There was an actual reduction of the consumption throughout the entire range of the measured oil temperatures, with an additive concentration of 1: 5000. The optimum value is to be found at oil temperatures in the range between 70 and 80°C, which comes close to the real operation in mixed traffic conditions.

Picture 2 shows a comparison of the specific fuel consumption (g/kWh). This approach has the advantage that slight deviations of the engine torque can be corrected by relating the consumption to the actual engine performance achieved in each case.

It cannot be avoided that despite the intended constant operation on the test station, the engine shows slight torsional fluctuations due to the different control processes (test station control, Lambda control, cooling water thermostat etc.), making it impossible to maintain a steady load. It therefore make sense not to compare the overall consumption (as shown in picture 1) but the consumption in relation to the performance (so called effective specific fuel consumption).

The following conclusions can be drawn from this diagram:

The curves representing the fuel consumption show the known reduction at rising oil temperatures during warm-up. With the additive mixed into 4-star petrol, taking all comparable oil temperatures into consideration, the consumption is less than if no additive is used.

The additive consists of a mixture of hydrocarbons and does not contain any metal compounds.

Due to the composition and the low concentration, no serious effects on the long-term or long-use performance of the engine are to be expected, including how well the car starts and how long the catalytic converter lasts.

Important Information When Uusing SSL

  1. If you have an on board computer in your vehicle, please do not exclusively rely on the indicated average consumption. We recommend noting down the fuel quantity and calculating the consumption every time you fill up.
  2. SSL works progressively, i.e. constant use will optimise the fuel saving effect.
  3. This is why we recommend for both petrol and diesel engines to drive at least 1200 km before calculating the consumption.
  4. If it is of course necessary to refer to the data available for the consumption without any additive, to be able to achieve an objective comparison. Constant use of SSL will increase fuel savings and performance.
  5. SSL works with any type of combustion engine, including, for instance, motor bikes, lawn mowers etc.
  6. SSL is suitable for storage and can be kept for years. Please do not expose the bottle to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
  7. The bottle should only be transported in the upright position.
  8. Should the filler neck of your vehicle have a protective lid, (which is the case with newer vehicles) SSL will first be poured on the protective lid together with a slow flow of fuel from the fuel nozzle. Then the nozzle is pushed through the lid into the tank for the SSL gas mixture to flow in and the tank to be filled up completely.
  9. ATTENTION: The increased performance provided by SSL might tempt you to drive faster or to try out SSL with accelerating manoeuvres. This is when your gas consumption goes up which means the economising effect can only be achieved if you do not change your style of driving when using SSL. Furthermore the fuel saving with SSL depends on different factors: traffic conditions, style of driving, weather/temperature, engine.This means, vehicles shows different fuel saving results.
  10. The information that it takes one hour for SSL to fully mix with the fuel, is only true for the first time you use SSL. You can, of course, immediately continue to drive your vehicle. When filling up the following times, SSL will be fully mixed with the fuel after 10 minutes. To achieve optimal fuel saving results, the SSL additive should always be mixed in while
    filling up completely.
  11. The economising effect of SSL Sprit Save Liquid has been tested and verified by the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen (Germany).
  12. SSL Sprit Save Liquid does not damage the engine, the catalytic converter and particle filter.
  13. Having used up SSL Sprit Save Liquid, you can dispose of the empty container at a petrol station in a refuse bin.

Passenger cars (petrol and diesel engines): you need only 3 ml SSL Sprit save Liquid for 70 litres of fuel. Overdosing is not harmful, but it can affect the saving results.
